Update v2.0.7


With the brand new Unreal Engine 5.2.1 update we've finally moved over from 5.1. We have decided to add some long overdue settings to our game and hopefully this helps improve your performance while playing.

If you decide you don't want the fancy frame hog Lumen, you can switch that off now! Just head to the "Advanced Graphics" section in your Graphics Settings and set any of the new options to off for the good old ROBOLAND experience.  Switching Anti-Aliasing Methods and/or DirectX modes may also help to improve performance. (DirectX can be switched by adding "-DX12"  or "-DX11" to your shortcut/launch parameters but note, DX12 is not fully supported and you may run into issues.)

I had realised while playing on the previous update, the performance took a massive downgrade due to us adding support for all the fancy new things, but I didn't realise that it was going to be that bad... I apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused to your gameplay.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug causing Brink to refill water at double the rate that was intended.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented other players from refilling water in Multiplayer modes.

Changes

  • Changed color of Back button text in "News"
  • Added Combo Box to "News" for easier access to latest patch notes in-game.
  • Added support for DLSS-G (Streamline, better known as DLSS 3)
  • Added "Dynamic Global Illumination Method" Option
  • Added "Reflection Method" Option
  • Added "Nanite" Option
  • Added "Virtual Shadow Maps" Option to enable/disable Virtual Shadows.


There is a known issue where hitting AI no longer makes a sound, this is a minor bug that should hopefully be fixed in a later update.
